For 10 years I put off getting surgery on my nose. I told myself over and over again that I didn’t really need it and that I could wish myself into feeling more confident. After my 30th Birthday I realised that I still spent so much of my time wishing my nose was different and it was such a waste of my energy.
It was only going to change if something changed. My feelings towards my nose weren’t changing – I’d tried all sorts over the last 10 years and no matter how hard I tried, it still made me unhappy. So it was time to find someone that could help me.
I met with a few consultants and had various conversations about what could be done. Mark was by far the best. From our first meeting, to our post-surgery follow up meeting, Mark has always been reassuring, straight to the point and a true expert. The surgery went smoothly despite it being a tricky nose, and recovery was how I expected and exactly as it has been explained it would be.
The thing that has exceeded my expectations is how I feel now. Every-time I see myself, I smile. I am overwhelmed with a new sense of confidence I could only ever have imagined before.
There’s no denying that it’s a big decision to make. But it’s one of the best I’ve ever made.
According to everyone else I still look like ‘me’. But to me, I feel and look the best I ever have.
