    Breast Uplift Surgery in London

Rediscover Youthful Contours, Rejuvenate Your Confidence

Do you feel your breasts have lost their youthful shape and firmness?
The effects of time, gravity, and life’s changes can leave many women feeling self-conscious about their breasts. Our breast uplift procedure can help you regain confidence and feel more like yourself.

What is a Breast Uplift (Mastopexy)?

A breast uplift, also known as a boob lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to reshape and lift your breasts, restoring a more youthful and lifted appearance.

    Procedure and Aftercare

    During Your Procedure:

To ensure your comfort during surgery, we will administer a general anaesthetic. You will not be able to eat or drink for a period before the operation, as advised by your anaesthetist. The procedure itself typically takes two to three hours, during which Dr. Solomos will make precise incisions and meticulously reshape your breasts.

He may also reposition your nipples and reduce the size of your areolas for a harmonious outcome. If you are combining your breast uplift with augmentation, Dr. Solomos will expertly place the implants to enhance your new contours.

    Your Recovery Journey:

After surgery, we’ll provide you with pain relief and monitor your recovery. You may have temporary drainage tubes, which will be removed before you go home. Our dedicated team will guide you through wound care and provide personalised advice on caring for your breasts, hygiene, and showering.

You’ll need someone to drive you home and stay with you for the first 24 hours. While you recover, avoid driving, alcohol, operating machinery, or making important decisions for 24 hours after anaesthesia.

    Returning to Your Routine:

Gradually increase your activity levels as you heal. Most patients resume light activities within two weeks and return to normal routines by six weeks. Avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting for several weeks, and do not drive until you feel comfortable and safe. We will advise you on returning to work and other activities based on your individual recovery progress.

For pain management, you can take over-the-counter painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen, following the provided instructions. Wear a non-wired bra for a few weeks, and your surgeon may recommend a supportive dressing or sports bra to aid in the healing process.

Our nursing team will carefully examine your wounds about a week after surgery, and any skin-closure strips will be removed if necessary.

We are committed to providing comprehensive support throughout your recovery journey.

    Your Transformation, Unveiled

Restored Perkiness: Your breasts will be lifted to a more youthful position.
Enhanced Shape: We’ll reshape your breasts, creating a fuller and more aesthetically pleasing contour.
Reduced Areola Size: If desired, we can reduce the size of your areolas for a more balanced appearance.

    Important Considerations

As with any surgical procedure, you can expect some temporary effects as your body heals:

Soreness, Swelling, and Bruising: These are common after surgery and may take several weeks to subside.
Scars: While permanent, the scars will be strategically placed for discreetness and will fade over time, becoming less noticeable.
Nipple Sensation Changes: You may experience some changes in nipple sensation, which can vary from person to person and typically improve over time.

Mr. Solomos and our team will provide you with comprehensive aftercare instructions and support to manage these effects and ensure a smooth recovery. We are dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible outcome and regain your confidence.
