Dr. Mark Solomos MD FRCS EBOPRAS, is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon in Highgate Hospital (London).
Starting his career in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Solomos completed his initial surgical training in the NHS (Intercollegiate Board of the Royal College of Surgeons), to then further his medical knowledge into membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow.
Mark qualified and honored the title ‘Medical Specialty in Plastic Surgery’ through qualifications in Athens (Greece) in accordance with the European and British Directives (Articles 24, 25, 26 and 28 Directive 93/16 EEC).
Dr. Solomos is a member of the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register in Plastic Surgery, which certifies that he meets the requirements set by the General Medical Council and the Royal College of Surgeons, and is qualified to perform cosmetic and reconstructive procedures as a Consultant Surgeon.
After many years with the NHS, Dr. Solomos trained privately in London and higher specialty training with multiple specialist teaching hospitals across the UK, and had been awarded the Fellowship of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, demonstrating the superior quality of his theoretical and practical skills.
Mark Solomos specializes in aesthetic surgery, and particular areas of expertise include facial rejuvenation and breast and body contouring surgery. Dr. Solomos has performed numerous operations covering the whole spectrum of cosmetic surgery, and has extensive experience with the use of non-surgical rejuvenation treatments (injectables-lasers).
Mark is Medical Director of the Lasercare Sk:n clinic in Maida Vale, and member of the Medical Advisory Committee in Plastic Surgery for Sk:n. and is also with Harley Medical and Wellbeck Hospital.
Throughout his career Dr. Solomos has been invited as a key speaker to multiple conferences, and has presented in numerous international medical conventions alongside television and radio appearances, and has published work in medical journals in the field of Plastic Surgery.
