Your Unique Journey
Your journey begins with a comprehensive consultation with Mr. Solomos. He will discuss your goals, answer your questions, and create a customised plan that aligns with your vision.
There are different ways to place breast implants: In the most common technique, the surgeon makes a cut (incision) on the underside of your breast, in the natural skin fold. The surgeon places the implant through this opening. Your scar may be a little more visible if you are younger, thin, and have not had children.
Your Transformation, Step by Step
We meticulously plan and execute your breast augmentation journey to ensure optimal results and a smooth recovery.. Here’s what you can expect:
The Procedure
- Precise Incisions: A small incision is made, either next to or below the breast, as discussed during your consultation.
- Implant Placement: The implant is carefully positioned, either between your breast tissue and chest muscle or behind your chest muscle, based on your personalised plan.
- Closure and Dressing: The incision is meticulously stitched and covered with a dressing.
The procedure typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, and you should be able to go home the same day. Pain relief will be provided to manage any discomfort.
Your Recovery:
- Early Movement: You’ll be encouraged to move around soon after surgery to promote healing.
- Gradual Return to Activities: Most patients take 1-2 weeks off work and avoid driving for at least a week.
- Supportive Care: You may be advised to wear a sports bra for a few months to support your breasts during healing.
- Activity Restrictions: Avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for at least a month.
Recovery Timeline:
- 1-2 Weeks: Stitches are removed (unless dissolvable), and you can gradually resume light activities.
- 6 Weeks: You should be able to return to most normal activities, and your scars will begin to fade.
- A Few Months: Your breasts will start to look and feel more natural, and you may be able to stop wearing your sports bra.
You can safely enjoy sunbathing and flying with breast implants.
Remember, this is a general guideline, and your individual recovery may vary. Mr. Solomos will provide you with personalised instructions and support throughout your journey.
