I had a breast reduction, uplift and augmentation by Mark at Highgate Hospital in May 2023. I am a healthy 29-year-old woman, 5ft 10, UK size 12 and had 34DD breasts before the operation. My motivation behind seeking treatment was purely down to poor body image and low self-esteem regarding my breasts. After my first consultation, Mark and his fabulous PA, Christine, supported me right through my journey. I decided on 450cc and 500cc implants to give me a good size and volume for my frame. I was nervous they would look too big but Mark said to trust him and I am so pleased I did! I was incredibly nervous, having never needed an operation before. My experience at Highgate was fantastic and I would recommend people seeking surgery to stay overnight. I was very light headed and in pain (as expected) after the operation and it was a relief to have nurses looking after me. I experienced some reaction to the stitches on one side which caused delayed healing. I did require a second dose of antibiotics and Mark saw me very regularly. I was able to send picture updates to Christine (poor thing) who reassured me and booked me in for reviews every 2-3 weeks whilst experiencing delayed healing. This has healed now (10 weeks post-op) and the scars are almost completely gone. Overall, my operation has been life-changing and I recommend Mark and his team wholeheartedly.

Mr Solomos is a slightly more direct surgeon but that works for me, no frills but so so pleased with his work, he's a god damn genius!!!

I had my breasts done years ago in London and this year I decided to have them checked abroad. During the scan, the doctor discovered that I’ve got a capsular contracture, a rupture in my implant and that the silicone had spread into my lymph nodes. I really panicked! 5 stars doesn’t feel like enough, I would give 10 if possible. I could not be happier with my treatment with Mark. I have been concerned about the difference shape and sizes of my breasts for over ten years but I was reluctant to have surgery as it was really important for me that they looked natural. Following a friend recommending Mark, and seeing her results (the best breast augmentation I had seen) I decided to take the plunge and book a consultation. Mark is professional, friendly and explains everything so well. He gave me a lot of information including any risks. We planned on breast augmentation with an additional lift on one side. Despite being a challenging case with one nipple an inch lower than the other and different breast sizes, Mark managed to achieve nothing short of a perfect result. I could not be happier, it superseded my expectations. I just wish I’d done it sooner, it has truly been life changing. Moving a nipple and placing the implants through the nipple, I was concerned about scars. 8 weeks on and they are hardly visible already! If you’re looking for a surgeon that you can trust and deliver the results that you personally want, Mark is the surgeon for you. A side note: his wonderful care manager Christine was in one-to-one contact with me from the time of enquiry to months on post operatively. She is lovely, informative and responds straight away. I had a Breast Reduction and Implants with Mark in May and I am blown away the results are life changing and I'm incredibly happy! Consultation: Mark was thorough, honest, direct and humorous I felt at ease talking to him. We discussed sizes, what he was able to do, what look I wanted to achieve, (I wanted to go BIG! over 550cc's) possible scars including keloids in darker skin tones like mine and the correct procedure needed. I also kept telling him that I want to lose weight before surgery - but he told me to forget it -it wont happen! and he was right I couldn't shift the weight no matter what exercises I did- so I really admired his honesty. Procedure: On the day of the surgery - I ended up going for 615cc's which seems big but infact it absolutely suits my frame. Recovery: Cocktail of medications for healing and pain and muscle relaxers, it wasn't easy and if anyone thinking of getting BA and uplift/ reduction.. All I can say is be prepared for day 3! That was my hardest day. The first week or 2 you will be bloated, swelling, sluggish and heavy with pain. It feels weird not being able to lift your arms properly, zingers and pangs in the chest and sleeping elevated. Marks P.A - Christine was extremely helpful and was on hand over whatsaap to answer all my questions and boy did have many! I did have a bad allergic reaction to the antibiotics- & developed a rash which slowed my healing processes. You would need to wear compression socks -and packs of ice is your friend! Results:-My results speak for itself, I Love it. I'm over 8 weeks post op and my scars are barely there. As I'm a darker complexion I was worried if my scars would come out raised and dark but they were not! it was light pink , flat and so neat and so tidy. When I had my 2nd post op app- I could tell that Mark was impressed too he said its healing nicely. I keep looking in the mirror thinking Damn! this looks so good! Bio oil works wonders and I still continue to use it.

Dr Solomos is a PURE genius!!!!!!!!! He is truly amazing, my results amazing and it's only been a month! He treats you with respect, he has manners, and he's a true example of what every surgeon should be like towards his patients
