Implant Removal, Breast Uplift, Abdomiplasty & Liposuction
I wanted to give a big shout out to Mr Mark Solomos, Christine Blake and the rest of the team for the wonderful care I received from them. After developing severe en capsulation of my right implant as a result of radiotherapy for breast cancer I was advised by several doctors the only option was to have the implants removed. Mark was the only surgeon prepared to remove them and offer an uplift. All other doctors said an uplift would be too risky and could lead to severe complications. Mark was honest about the risks but was confident he could manage the risks and deal with any eventuality’s. I had the operation to remove the implants, lift the breasts, fix a hernia, a tummy tuck and liposuction at the end of January at the Highgate Hospital. The operation went well and I spent just one night in hospital. I felt very safe in Marks hands and he and his patient care manager explained everything to me along the the way and during my recovery. The results of the operation exceeded all my expectations. I was able to return to work after two weeks and five weeks later I was able to go skiing and felt fitter and more body confident than I have in years. Less than three months later the scarring is virtually invisible. If you are considering surgery I would highly recommend Mark Solomos. Not only is he a brilliant surgeon but both he & Christine are so approachable and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you both so much

I had a breast reduction, uplift and augmentation by Mark at Highgate Hospital in May 2023. I am a healthy 29-year-old woman, 5ft 10, UK size 12 and had 34DD breasts before the operation. My motivation behind seeking treatment was purely down to poor body image and low self-esteem regarding my breasts. After my first consultation, Mark and his fabulous PA, Christine, supported me right through my journey. I decided on 450cc and 500cc implants to give me a good size and volume for my frame. I was nervous they would look too big but Mark said to trust him and I am so pleased I did! I was incredibly nervous, having never needed an operation before. My experience at Highgate was fantastic and I would recommend people seeking surgery to stay overnight. I was very light headed and in pain (as expected) after the operation and it was a relief to have nurses looking after me. I experienced some reaction to the stitches on one side which caused delayed healing. I did require a second dose of antibiotics and Mark saw me very regularly. I was able to send picture updates to Christine (poor thing) who reassured me and booked me in for reviews every 2-3 weeks whilst experiencing delayed healing. This has healed now (10 weeks post-op) and the scars are almost completely gone. Overall, my operation has been life-changing and I recommend Mark and his team wholeheartedly.

Amazing from start to finish. Mark made me feel at ease from my very first consultation appointment for my lower face and neck lift. He has given me a totally refreshed look, which in turn has left me feeling more confident. So pleased with my results.

I had a breast reduction, lift and implant procedure with Mark Solomos 8 weeks ago. Mark was a true professional from start to finish and he’s an absolute perfectionist! After losing a lot of weight I was left with extremely saggy breasts (aged 29). This destroyed my confidence, and no diet or exercise could improve the saggy skin I was left with. After my consultation with Mark I left feeling that what I wanted was achievable – I wanted to have a chest again but for my breasts to be in the right position and not too large, so that they were still in keeping with my petite frame. Christine Blake (PA for Mark Solomos) was incredible from the beginning answering all my questions pre and post the operation – she was absolutely incredible. On the day of my operation I was quite apprehensive but the staff at the hospital and Mark Solomos put my worries at ease. Following my procedure I was given all the information I would need and was in regular contact with Christine. I was concerned one of my breasts was larger than the other a few days after the operation so Christine booked me in with mark the next day – and he checked me over and confirmed they were fine and just healing at slightly different rates – the next day they were back to being the same size again. They kept me calm and told me not to worry and had me back in asap which helped calm my worries. I am now 8 weeks post op and have been given the all clear from Mark – I can go back to doing everything I did before. Im ecstatic with my results and I couldn’t be happier – the scars are healing nicely and the shape and positioning is just what I wanted! I now have the confidence to wear all the clothes I wanted to before! And feel confident for my up coming wedding! I had a breast reduction with Mark on the 8th of January 2024 so I am 14 weeks post op.
I honestly could not be happier that one I went through with doing a breast reduction after years and years of wanting one but also choosing Mark.
My results are beyond what I could’ve even hoped for!
From the moment I spoke to his PA Christine I already felt reassured and meeting Mark and Christine in real life I knew that I instantly wanted to go with him. So reassuring and helpful, basically showed me what it was going to look like and talking through the procedure and how easy it actually is which he was completely right. After only a couple of weeks I was completely fine and I’m sure that’s down to his work. The incisions are so neat and thin that you would’ve thought i was many months post op!

This is the 2nd time I have seen Mark. He carried out my tummy tuck in 2018 and this year my breast lift and augmentation. I have been so pleased with both of the results. They have changed my life and improved how I feel about my body following the birth of my 3 children. I cannot recommend him enough!
